9/9 - Ravens announce they had failed to reach a deal for a new contract with Lamar. Lamar is set to play on his final year of a 5-year contract.
9/11 - Game 1 - Ravens won their first game of the year 24-9
The Ravens beat the Jets, led by former Ravens QB Joe Flacco, 24-9 on the road. The Ravens were outgained 378 to 274 yards but made the best of their opportunities while the Jets failed to do the same. Lamar Jackson threw for 3 TDs and 1 pick. Ja’Wuan James tore his Achilles and will be lost for the year. Ravens also lost CB Kyle Fuller for the season with a torn ACL
9/18 - Game 2 - Ravens allow 4 touchdowns in the fourth quarter and lose home opener
The Ravens led 35-14 going into the 4th quarter but were outscored 28-3 in the fourth and dropped their home opened 42-38. Lamar Jackson threw for 3 TDs and rushed for one. Lamar produced his 11th 100-yard rushing game, which eclipsed Michael Vick for the most by a quarterback in NFL regular-season history. For the first time in franchise history, the Ravens returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown as Devin Duvernay took it 103 yards up the middle for the score. Uutside linebacker Steven Means suffered a torn Achilles and will miss the rest of the 2022 season.
9/22 - Ravens signed free agent Jason Pierre-Paul
9/25 - Game 3 - Ravens beat the Patriots
Ravens won their second game of the year by beating the New England Patriots 37-26. Lamar Jackson threw 4 TDs and ran in for one score. Ravens nose tackle Michael Pierce injured his arm and will miss the rest of the season. J.K. Dobbins made his 2022 debut.
10/2 - Game 4 - Ravens blow another comfortable lead and lose
The Ravens failed to score in the second half and lost a home game to the Buffalo Bills 23-20. The Ravens best chance to score occurred when the Ravens reached the red zone late in the game but Lamar's throw was intercepted in the endzone.
10/3 - Jimmy Smith officially announced his retirement
Drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Smith spent his entire 11 season career with the Ravens.
10/9 - Game 5 - Ravens won on the final play by a Justin Tucker field goal
Ravens won their first home game of the year by beating the Bengals 19-17. Justin Tucker was responsible for 13 of the 19 points the Ravens scored. With the win, the Ravens broke a 5-game home losing streak. LT Ronnie Stanley played for the first time since the 2021 opener. Safety Marcus Williams dislocated his wrist and was put on IR.
10/16 - Game 6 - Ravens lost to the Giants 24-20
Lamar Jackson lost his first game ever to an NFC team. He turned the ball over twice in the fourth quarter to seal the win for the Giants.
10/19 - Ravens signed WR DeSean Jackson to the practice squad
10/22 - Ravens placed RB J.K. Dobbins on Injured Reserve.
10/23 - Game 7 - Ravens hang on to defeat the Browns 23-20
Ravens held a ceremony for Super Bowl XLVII winning team before the game started.
10/27 - Game 8 - Ravens beat the Bucs 27-22
Receiver Rashod Bateman played in his final game of the year; he underwent a Lisfranc surgery after the game that ended his season.
11/01 - Ravens acquired ILB Roquan Smith from the Chicago Bears in exchange for ILB A.J. Klein and draft choices.
11/7 - Game 9 - Ravens get a 27-13 win over the New Orleans Saints
Linebacker Justin Houston had three tackles and 2.5 sacks and was named the NFL’s AFC Defensive Player of the Week. DeSean Jackson and Roquan Smith made their Ravens debut.
11/20 - Game 10 - Ravens defeat the Panthers 13-3
Mark Andrews became the third Raven in franchise history to reach 4,000 receiving yards, joining tight end Todd Heap and wide receiver Derrick Mason
11/28 - Game 11 - Ravens lost 28-27 to Jaguars
12/4 - Game 12 - Ravens top the Broncos 10-9
Lamar Jackson suffered a knee injury in the first quarter and did not return to the game. Patrick Queen was injured in the fourth quarter and was carted off the field.

Watkins was released the day before by the Packers. Watkins was a Raven in 2021, playing in 13 games.
12/24 - Game 15 - Ravens win home game against Falcons 17-9
